Lunesta, Revolutionary sleep aid for insomnia

Salt in drug is Eszopiclone and it is available in 1mg, 2mg and 3mg tablet form. Before starting the drug, it is important to consult a doctor. Adequate water is to be used along with it and it should preferably be taken some time after meals. After drug intake, it is important to take 7-8 hours of sleep otherwise it can lead to grogginess. Tablet needs to be swallowed and not crushed or chewed.  If the drug is being taken for quite a long time, then don’t stop the medicine suddenly. Stopping the drug at once can lead to withdrawal symptoms.

Take the medicine in same amounts as prescribed by your physician. Taking overdose can have adverse effect on your health. Pregnant females can also take this drug in first or second trimester for insomnia treatment after consulting their doctor. This drug is mostly given for short term use only and is seldom prescribed for more than 2 weeks. Store the drug at room temperature away from moisture. It is better to avoid Lunesta if you are travelling or in cases you can’t have 8 hours of sleep after the drug intake.  

Lunesta drug is not prescribed if you are allergic to Eszopiclone. If the drug causes anaphylactic reaction in the body, then stop the drug intake and seek emergency medical help. Allergic symptoms of this drug are breathing difficulty, puffiness of the face, tongue or the lips. One of the side-effects of this medicine is that it can cause thinking impairment. Chances of side effects will aggravate with intake of alcohol along with the medicament. The medication may become a habit for you. Many other drugs are available in the market which can be used for treatment of sleeplessness but none of them assures longer and quicker sleep as this drug does. This particular drug is approved by FDA and will give you uninterrupted sleep.
